United States major equity markets closed higher on Thursday with Dow Jones and S&P 500 hitting new all-time-high benchmarks. Meanwhile, traders are looking forward to consumer sentiment data released on Friday.

White House advisor Brian Deese noted that the US government will aim to keep inflation under control by addressing supply chain and bottleneck issues. Moderna traded in the green following yesterday's plunge as its stocks continue a volatile rally on CDC's intention to approve booster shots.

The Dow remained flat at the closing bell, while the S&P 500 rose by 0.29% as Organon soared 11.93%. The Nasdaq 100 grew by 0.41% led by Align Technology gaining 2.40%. The euro was down 0.04% against the dollar, exchanging hands for $1.17348 at 3:57 pm ET.
