Innogy E-Mobility US Llc was established in the Golden State by Germany's Innogy SE, based in Essen. RWE AG's subsidiary, spun off last year to concentrate operations in renewable energy, networks and retail, said on Friday that it intends to tap on the e-mobility market in the United States, namely charging points for electric cars. The firm that was set up in Los Angeles will provide technology and services, especially in California and other states that rolled out regulatory framework stipulating zero emissions, the statement said.

The US company will be managed by Cameron Funk, who was named chief executive after leaving ABM Industries Inc., where he was business development head. The press release notes Innogy partnered with BTCpower as a provider of hardware solutions for high-speed chargers.
