Dow tumbles over 600 pts premarket as sell-off continues

Major stocks on Wall Street extended losses on Monday as the premarket sell-off continued following the weekend break which was marked by a report that Senator Joe Manchin favors delaying Joe Biden's $3.5 trillion spending plan until the next year.

Earlier today, Pfizer revealed that the results of its 2/3 phase of the COVID-19 vaccine trial showed the jab is safe and effective to use in kids aged between five and 11 years.

The Dow Jones plunged 1.80% or 623 points at 7:54 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 plummeted by 1.48% or 226 points. The S&P 500 lost 1.59% at the same time. The euro declined by 0.18% against the dollar to sell for 1.17047.
