Asia-Pacific stocks mostly up after Japan data

Most of the major stock markets in Asia traded above the flatline on Wednesday following the release of minutes from the Bank of Japan's Policy Board June meeting. Additionally, the country's Finance Ministry reported Japan's trade surplus stood at ¥383.2 billion in June.

Japan's Nikkei 225 gained 1.27% at 03:55 am CET. The dollar was flat against the yen to change hands for ¥109.9030.

Meanwhile, in China, the Shanghai Composite rose 0.70% at 03:54 am CET while the Shenzhen Composite increased 1.02% at 03:55 am CET. Hong Kong's Hang Seng fell 0.11% at the same time.

South Korea's Kospi Composite surrendered 0.21% at 03:32 am CET, while S&P/ASX 200 in Australia jumped 1.19% at 03:56 am CET.
