Monday, 17. May 2021 12:39

The Dutch government will slightly ease the COVID-19 containment measures in the country on May 19, due to a decrease in the number of registered infections, country's Health Minister Hugo de Jonge (pictured) stated on Monday.

During a press conference, De Jonge explained that the drop in hospitalizations allowed the authorities to extend the working hours of hospitality venues with outdoor service, as well as to open amusement parks.

The health minister added that the talks on a possible further relaxation of coronavirus measures will be held within the following three weeks.
