Tesla increases Model 3, Model Y prices again - report

Tesla Inc. increased on Friday its prices for the Model 3 and Model Y cars in the United States.

According to Electrek, Tesla’s Model 3 Standard Range Plus has raised its price by $500, bringing the price of the cheapest Tesla model commercially available to $39,500, from $37,000 back in February. Additionally, the car manufacturer's Model 3 Long Range AWD and Model Y Long Range AWD also increased their prices by $500, while the price of the Model Y Performance remained unchanged.

This is the latest in a slew of price changes that Tesla did in the previous four months, and is the fourth price increase.

Immediately following the report, Tesla shares were up 0.75% in the premarket trade.
