Europe lower premarket amid earnings season

Major European stocks registered losses in the premarket trading on Tuesday as companies continued reporting their financial results for the second quarter of 2021.

Following the closing bell on Wall Street, tech giants Alphabet and Microsoft are set to publish their corporate earnings. Meanwhile, Bitcoin had a turbulent day by making a leap past $40,000, only to return to around $37.000 shortly after.

The DAX lost 0.18% at 7:21 am CET, while the FTSE 100 fell 0.15%. The CAC 40 declined 0.09%. The euro stood flat against the dollar to sell for 1.18019, while the pound gained 0.06% to $1.38268 at 7:22 am CET.
