US stocks move to mixed ahead of jobless claims

The Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 erased premarket losses on Thursday ahead of key economic reports. The producer price index (PPI) and the initial jobless claims are scheduled for release ahead of the market open. The daily coronavirus infection totals for the United States have remained under 40,000, adding to upbeat estimates for economic recovery.

The Dow Jones was flat at 8:14 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 added 0.68% at the same time, while the S&P 500 was up by 0.25%.

The euro traded 0.07% higher compared to the dollar and sold for 1.20803 at 8:15 am ET.
