Outgoing Lloyds CEO proposed as Credit Suisse chair

The board of directors of Credit Suisse Group AG proposed on Tuesday that outgoing Lloyds Banking Group's CEO Antonio Horta-Osorio be elected as the Swiss lender's new chairman.

Horta-Osorio would succeed Urs Rohner, who is stepping down in 2021 after reaching the statutory term of 12 years.

Lloyds Banking Group plc announced yesterday HSBC Bank plc's Charlie Nunn will replace Horta-Osorio next year.
