Europe seen flat to higher ahead of BoE decision

European stock index futures pointed to a flat to higher open on Thursday as investors remain focused on the corporate earnings releases that continue throughout the week. Germany's BMW, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens and French Credit Agricole already reported their results before the markets opened for trading in Europe while market watchers continue to anticipate a string of earnings due later today. Meanwhile, investors are also anticipating the Bank of England's interest rate decision and BoE Governor Mark Carney's speech set for later in the day.

The DAX is set to remain almost flat, gaining 0.01%, the FTSE 100 is seen 0.08% in the green and the CAC 40 is expected to increase 0.12%.

The euro shed 0.12% against the US dollar to sell for 1.1842 at 8:15 am CET.
