Google LLC has signed an agreement with HCA Healthcare to develop algorithms based on provider's patient data, The Wall Street Journal reported on Wednesday.

The aim of the project is to improve operating efficiency, monitor patients, and guide doctors' decisions, the companies reportedly said.

"Data are spun off of every patient in real time. Part of what we’re building is a central nervous system to help interpret the various signals," HCA's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jonathan Perlin said according to the WSJ.
