Google Pay partners with Western Union, Wise for money transfer service

Google Pay announced in a blog post on Tuesday that it has partnered with Western Union to allow American users to send money to over 200 countries and territories, while the new integration with London-based Wise money transfer company will help send funds to 80 countries globally.

Thanks to the integration, starting May 11 the users in the United States are already able to send money through Google to India and Singapore.

"For some, sending money back to their home countries is a regular activity and we are making it more accessible by adding it to the app that you use for your everyday money tasks. Working with Western Union and Wise, we're now able to give those with family abroad a simple, safe and reliable way to send money abroad," Google Pay's blog post read.
