Office building Frankfurt am Main
In Germany the demand for one stop shopping in technical
infrastructures is still growing. Imtech is the leading
multi-disciplinary technical service provider in Germany in the
market segments buildings and industry. As a result, Imtech is well
positioned in the market for large commercial buildings.

Allianz Immobilien GmbH issued the order to both Hochtief and Imtech
Deutschland. Together these companies form the building combination
(Arge). The investment for the building combination is valued at
approximately 86 million euro. The Imtech part has a value of
approximately 26 million euro.

The new 40,000 m² office building is situated at the Taunusanlage,
opposite to the monumental Opera House and will be a landmark in the
centre of Frankfurt. The office consists of several individual
buildings, which are connected to each other by theme gardens.
Beneath the building there will be a parking garage with the capacity
of 355 cars. Several existing monumental buildings will be integrated
in the new office, as well as a casino and a conference centre.

Imtech will be responsible for the entire multi-disciplinary
technical infrastructure. This includes: ICT infrastructure for data
and telecommunications, complete electrical power provision,
electrical and mechanical engineering, process control technology,
building management, energy management and (fire) security systems.
Various advanced technical solutions will be implemented in the
building. In addition, the building will meet the most recent LON
(LonWorks Network Operating System) standards, in which all technical
solutions are equipped with a standard chip allowing integrated
control, servicing and interaction to take place at any information
point in the planned communication network.

Imtech Deutschland, middle and southwestern regions, will undertake
the project and completion is planned for the third quarter of 2005.

Office building Brussels
Imtech is a top-3 multi-disciplinary technical service provider in
Belgium. Particularly in the market of buildings, among which
commercial office buildings, Imtech possesses a strong market
position. The office buildings market in Belgium is under pressure,
but this is counterbalanced by the effect of the expansion of the
European Community with ten new member states. Especially in the
region Brussels there is sight of new commercial office buildings

One of these initiatives is the Tour Centre International Rogier, a
32 storeys high office building. BCC, Brussels Business Centre, a
full sister company of Dexia, commission this office tower. The
building is localised on the site of the former 'Rogiertoren' and has
been designed by the architect combination M&J-M. Jaspers / J. Eyers
& Partners, and Samyn and Partners.

In the tower Imtech is responsible for the total Heating, Ventilation
and Air-conditioning (HVAC), cooling ceilings, sprinkler technology
and sanitary installations. The contract of Imtech has a value of
approximately 26 million euro.

The pending Tour Centre International Rogier will be a low-energy
building. This is because the planned dynamic facade, which makes it
possible to use a lower capacity for heating and cooling than in more
classic buildings. Also energy advisor Tractebel took care of a
complete package of reclaiming heat measures.

IC Imtech, a business unit of Imtech Belgium, will undertake the
project and completion is planned for June 2006.
