Europe starts in green with data in focus

European stock markets opened the first trading session of the week higher after Germany's Federal Bank reported factory orders reached a record high in July. Later during the day, data on United Kingdom's construction PMI and European Union's investor confidence will be released.

In London, the FTSE 100 started 0.11% higher. EVRAZ plc jumped 1.69%. The DAX climbed 0.21% as Infineon Technologies AG rose 1.10%. The CAC 40 increased 0.17% with LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton advancing 0.66%.

The euro and the pound were unchanged against the dollar at 8:59 am CET, selling for $1.18722 and $1.38483 respectively.
