US higher premarket with earnings ahead

Shares on Wall Street traded slightly higher in the early premarket session on Tuesday, as investors are looking forward to a big day of corporate earnings reports. General Electric, United Parcel Service, and Raytheon Technologies are among the companies that will be releasing their earnings reports before the bell rings, while Microsoft and Alphabet will wait until after trading is done for the day for their reports.

The Dow Jones was up by 0.11% at 4:32 am ET, while the Nasdaq 100 increased by 0.10% a minute later. The S&P 500 index rose by 0.14% at 4:33 am ET.

The euro decreased 0.21% when compared to the dollar trading for 1.20615 at 4:34 am ET.
