Asia trades lower after US stock selloff

Asian markets traded lower on Thursday following a Wall Street session resulting in the Dow Jones losing over 380 points. The US Federal Reserve signaled it could slow down asset purchasing this year. Meanwhile, the earnings season continued, with Nvidia and Robinhood reporting considerable jumps in revenue.

The Nikkei 225 lost 0.68% at 4:21 am CET, while Hang Seng was down 1.58% and the S&P/ASX 200 declined by 0.61% at the same time. The Kospi Composite dropped 0.92% at 4:02 am CET.

The Shanghai Composite decreased by 0.89% at 4:22 am CET, and the Shenzhen Composite fell by 0.58% at 4:23 am CET.

The dollar traded 0.35% higher against the yen at 4:24 am CET and sold for 110.1625.
