British Secretary of State for International Trade Liz Truss (pictured) praised on Thursday the talks regarding the Airbus-Boeing trade dispute with United States Trade Representative (USTR) Katherine Tai, describing the dialogue as "very positive."

Speaking before the British parliament, Truss underlined that "the dispute has been going on for 16 years," is finally moving in a positive direction.

The conflict between the two companies started in 2004, with both the United States and the European Union making the case that the other party is guilty of obtaining an unfair competitive advantage in international dealings.
