SoftBank records ¥2.6T in net sales in H1, up 3.6% YoY

SoftBank Group Corp. revealed on Monday that its net sales in the first half of fiscal 2020 reached ¥2.6 trillion ($25.4 billion) after a 3.6% increase compared to the same period a year before.

During the same six-month period, the firm's diluted earnings per share skyrocketed 374.5% compared to the first half of fiscal 2019 to reach ¥903.06 ($8.72), while its net income reached ¥1.88 trillion ($18.1 billion) after a surge of whopping 253.1% compared to the same period the year prior.

The company unveiled that ¥4.5 trillion of its net income can be attributed to the monetization of assets held, including the sale of Arm Ltd's shares to Nvidia Corporation.
