Beijing eases outbound travel restrictions

Beijing will allow people from "low-risk areas" to enter and leave it without being tested for the coronavirus, the municipal government spokesman Xu Hejian said on Saturday.

The decision was made after the city has not reported any new cases of COVID-19 in the past five days.

Back in March, the Chinese capital introduced 14-day quarantine for entrants to prevent the coronavirus from spreading.
