Wall Street opens higher after tech stocks sell-off

Wall Street opened in the green on Wednesday after Tuesday's tech stocks sell-off which all hit record highs and they are continuing their rise today as well. Meanwhile, United States President Donald Trump commented that the "death rate from coronavirus is down tenfold." Also, Emergent Biosolutions Inc. and Mount Sinai Health System are reportedly set to work together on testing drug containing the blood plasma of recovered coronavirus patients that could help to prevent infections.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average went up by 0.14% at the open with Apple climbing by 1.72%. The Nasdaq 100 increased by 0.61% at the same time. Biogen was jumping by 6.10%. The S&P 500 grew by 0.33%. Nvidia Corp was the best performer rising by 1.67%.

The euro was up 0.39% against the dollar to change hands for $1.13188 at 9:33 am ET.
