US higher premarket on Trump's remarks

Major stock markets in the United States traded higher in premarket on Wednesday after President Donald Trump said the death rate from coronavirus is down "tenfold," contrary to the daily rise in infections that hit its new record high. Trump's administration officially started the withdrawal process from the World Health Organization, which previously warned the pandemic is yet to reach its peak.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average traded 0.25% higher at 4:30 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 increased by 0.51% and the S&P 500 went up by 0.32%.

The euro gained 0.13% against the dollar to sell for $1.12874 at 4:28 am ET.
