Froneri acquires Nestlé's US ice cream brands

Ice cream company Froneri Limited announced on Wednesday that it acquired Nestlé SA's United States-based ice cream business. The company will be taking control of all Nestlé's US brands including Häagen-Dazs, however, Nestlé will keep the management of their ice-cream branches in Canada, Latin America and Asia.

Earlier, Froneri was created in a deal by merging Nestlé's European ice cream business with PAI-owned R&R. The deal valued at $4 billion was made in 2016.
