US trading mostly higher premarket

Major stock market indices on Wall Street traded slightly higher in premarket trade on Wednesday. Investors are awaiting the Federal Reserve’s upcoming interest rate decision, scheduled for later in the day. Wall Street is also keeping an eye on looming trade tariffs with China, although it was reported that the United States plans to have them delayed as both sides are trying to reach an agreement.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was flat at 8:32 am ET while the Nasdaq 100 rose 0.27% at the same time. The S&P 500 increased by 0.21% at 8:32 am ET.

The euro lost 0.13% against the dollar to go for 1.10806 at 8:32 am ET.
