Treasury yields lower ahead of US rate decision

United States Treasury yields declined on Wednesday as investors awaited the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision which is due later in the day as markets expected the Fed to decrease rates for the third time this year.

The two-year note yield was unchanged at 1.642% at 9:18 am ET. Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury yield declined by 0.004 basis points to 1.831% at 9:22 am ET and the 30-year Treasury yield lost 0.008 basis points and was at 2.323% at 9:23 am ET.

Corresponding bond futures were 0.01%, 0.06% and 0.22% in the green, respectively.
