Johnson would accept 10 day Brexit delay - report

United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson would agree to delay Brexit by 10 days, but only if the European Union promises that it would stress that it is giving a "final, final extension," a Downing Street source told FT on Tuesday.

However, the source noted the EU would never give guarantees that the extension is final, "so, in practice" the Johnson government would simply pull the Withdrawal Agreement Bill if they lose the program motion.

Government sources said earlier Johnson would try to organize an election by the end of the year if MPs vote against his program motion.
