Asian markets mixed after Trump comment, N.Korea's test

Asian markets traded mixed on Friday after US President Donald Trump said he doesn't expect the trade war with China to go on much longer. Meanwhile, North Korea fired more projectiles into the East Sea as a protest against joint US-South Korea military drills Pyongyang sees as a provocation.

China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.25% at 4:12 am CET. Shenzhen Composite also traded 0.45% higher at the same time.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng traded 0.03% lower at 4:15 am CET.

South Korean Kospi Composite was down 0.99% at 4:13 am CET.

Japanese Nikkei 225 was down 0.02% at 4:15 am CET. The dollar traded 0.03% higher against the yen, to go for 106.1610 at 4:13 am CET.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 went down 0.01% at 4:15 am CET.
