Deutsche Bank accounting head steps aside - report

The head of the accounting in Deutsche Bank, Andreas Loetscher, decided to temporarily step down from the office due to his involvement in the Wirecard scandal, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday.

Loetscher was one of the top auditors of Wirecard, which broke down in accounting fraud.

In July this year, German prosecutors announced they are investigating insolvent financial services company Wirecard for suspected money laundering.
