Tesla sold 11,000 Model 3 China-made cars in July

Tesla Inc. sold in July 11,000 of its Model 3 vehicles which were produced in China, the country's Auto Industry Association CPCA revealed on Tuesday.

The Model 3 started using lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries last June after China's Ministry of Industry approved the production modifications.

The stocks of the American carmaker started sliding over the last weeks to stand at $1,418.57 per share. However, the company's shares have surged almost 240% since the start of the year.
