Nasdaq hits all-time high led by Big Tech gains

Equities on Wall Street rose on Monday with Nasdaq 100 reaching a record high at 11,080 index points as US tech giants traded higher early in the session.

US President Donald Trump hailed the fresh all-time high, warning "it would all come crashing down" if Democratic presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden wins the 2020 US election.

The Nasdaq 100 surged 1.32% at 10:08 am ET as Qualcomm jumped over 6%, Apple added more than 4% and Microsoft gained nearly 4%. A minute later, the Dow grew 0.81% and the S&P 500 strengthened 0.78%.

The euro lost 0.32% at 10:11 am ET, going for $1.17415.
