Apple aims to achieve full carbon neutrality by 2030

Apple Inc. announced on Tuesday it plans to become 100% carbon neutral by 2030.

The iPhone maker stressed that it aims to bring its carbon footprint to net zero "across its entire business, manufacturing supply chain, and product life cycle" and noted by 2030 all Apple products will have a net zero climate impact.

Earlier, nine companies including Microsoft, Unilever, Mercedes-Benz, Nike and Starbucks announced they established a joint initiative to accelerate the transition to a net zero economy.
