Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk took to Twitter on Thursday to note that the company will build RNA microfactories for CureVac and perhaps other coronavirus vaccine manufacturers as a side project.

Adding to a tweet in which he lauded the potential of synthetic DNA and RNA, he stated that this would turn the search for cures for many diseases into a "software problem."

On Wednesday, Tesla became the most valuable car manufacturer in the world, leaving behind Toyota Motor Corp. as a second. Tesla's stocks jumped 6.02% at 4:40 am ET, going for $1,187.00.
