US stocks grow premarket on trade optimism

Equities on Wall Street gained premarket on Thursday as reaching the so-called phase one trade deal between China and the United States seems more realistic. China spread optimism after its Commerce Ministry revealed that Beijing and Washington are in "close contact" on a trade deal.

Data releases regarding initial jobless claims and trade balance from the US are expected to be published before the opening bell while the investors' focus will switch to US factory orders results after markets open.

The Dow grew 0.12% at 4:30 am ET, the Nasdaq 100 increased 0.09% while the S&P 500 added 0.05% at the same time.

The euro traded higher, changing hands for $1.10914 at 4:30 am ET.
