Asian stocks rise on upbeat Chinese data

Asian markets traded higher on Monday after manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors in China improved during November, according to the latest reports.

It was reported over the weekend that Beijing is persistent about the rollback of tariffs on its exports to the United States. The approval of the controversial Hong Kong bills by the US government officials reportedly presents an obstacle in the trade negotiation process.

The Shanghai Composite increased by 0.33% at 4:14 am CET and the Shenzhen Composite Index rose 0.53% at 4:30 am CET. The Hang Seng jumped 0.48% at 4:29 CET. The Nikkei 225 index increased by 1.12% one minute later, while the South Korean Kospi climbed 0.47% at 4:31 am CET. The S&P/ASX 200 in Australia was 0.11% higher at 4:33 am CET.

The dollar added 0.21% at 4:35 am CET to for ¥109.6865.
