Dow jumps over 100 pts with all eyes on trade

The equities on Wall Street traded in the green premarket on Tuesday as the investors look for progress in trade talks between the United States and China. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump hailed his meeting with the Federal Reserve President Jay Powell, calling it "very good," but urged the Fed's chair to lower the interest rates as those are "too high relative to the interest rates of other competitor countries."

The Dow rose over 100 points, surging 0.39% at 5:51 am ET. At the same time, the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 jumped 0.41% and 0.30%, respectively.

The euro traded flat against the greenback, changing hands for 1.10700 at 5:52 am ET.
