Europe up premarket after earnings

Equities on major European stock markets were higher in premarket trade on Wednesday after Societe Generale and ThyssenKrupp posted their latest quarterly numbers. In other business news, it was reported yesterday that Ford will build its first fully electric car at its factory in Germany.

The DAX increased by 0.43% and London's FTSE 100 rose by 0.55% at 7:53 am CET. The CAC 40 gained 0.40% at 8:00 am CET.

The euro was 0.06% higher compared to the dollar at 7:54 am CET, trading at 1.21244. The British pound was flat against the American currency, going for 1.38208 a minute later.
