Europe in green premarket as vaccine optimism grows

Shares on major European stock markets ticked higher in premarket trade on Tuesday with traders' hopes over building the effective vaccine against coronavirus rise. United States President Donald Trump claimed the country "may already have" the vaccine as several candidates are in late-stage trials, adding anti-COVID-19 drugs will be introduced along with the vaccine.

On the data front, investors await unemployment data from the United Kingdom as well as a report on German economic sentiment, which are set to be released during the session.

The DAX jumped 1.10% at 8:11 am CET, while the FTSE 100 and the CAC 40 increased by 0.90% and 1% at the same time, respectively.

The euro moved up by 0.07%, trading at $1.17463 at 8:12 am CET.
