Apple reveals its website, app about coronavirus

Apple Inc. has released its smartphone application and a website offering information about coronavirus, including its symptoms.

The tech giant announced that both tools were developed in cooperation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the White House Coronavirus Task Force and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

"This new screening tool is designed to be a resource for individuals and does not replace instructions from healthcare providers or guidance from state and local health authorities," Apple underlined.

The White House initially announced only Google as the company which will work with authorities to build an informative website on COVID-19.
