Dollar falls to two-year-lows against Swiss franc

Friday, 06. March 2020 11:02

The dollar declined to lows against the Swiss franc last seen in March 2018 on Friday as investors remained focused on the spread of coronavirus COVID-19 as the number of globally recorded cases of the illness approached 100,000. US Treasury purchases increased as market participants moved away from the US dollar and stocks as the virus increased fears over global trade and economic growth.

The dollar was 0.77% down compared to the Swiss franc at 11 am CET as it went for 0.93884. The currency is now 3.70% lower over the past month against the Swiss franc.
