The Nasdaq 100 reversed losses near the session end on Tuesday after trading deeply in the red for most of the day, setting a fresh record.

The stock markets kicked the session off trading below the flat after Apple warned that it would miss revenue estimates in the second quarter of fiscal 2020, while reports suggested that the Cupertino-based tech titan is moving its production from China to Taiwan amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 rose 0.15% at 2:58 pm ET, with Tesla pulling the index up by jumping 6.87%.
