Europe mostly higher premarket as trade odds improve

European markets traded mostly higher premarket on Friday after positive trade signals came from the United States. Washington's National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien asserted that his country is "close" to reaching a trade deal with China while US President Donald Trump said "something may happen" with previously announced tariffs on Chinese goods set to take effect on December 15.

Equities on German DAX traded 0.60% higher at 7:30 am CET while the FTSE 100 added 0.31% at the same time. Meanwhile, the CAC 40 in Paris was flat.

The euro remained unchanged against the dollar, changing hands for 1.11037 at 7:30 am CET.
