Borussia Moenchengladbach's manager Marco Rose (pictured) will join Borussia Dortmund next season as the team's new head coach, his current club unveiled on Monday.

"We have held a lot of talks in recent weeks to discuss Marco's future. Unfortunately, he has opted to trigger a clause in his contract and leave this summer," Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl said in a statement.

Previously, Marco Rose managed Reb Bull Salzburg in Austria between 2017 and 2019, while he joined Borussia Moenchengladbach before the start of the 2019-20 season.
