Equities on Wall Street finished Friday's session in the green as the coronavirus pandemic remained in investors' focus. US President Donald Trump sparked optimism over containing the outbreak as he claimed that a vaccine delivery is set to begin "literally next week and the week after."

Meanwhile, uncertainty following the 2020 US election continues as Trump asserted it's hard for him to concede to US President-elect Joe Biden due to a "massive fraud," adding that Biden can only enter the White House if proves all of his votes "were not fraudulently or illegally obtained."

The Dow Jones added 0.13% at the closing bell as Amgen strengthened 2%, while the S&P 500 increased by 0.25% to hit another all-time high after jumping over 2% this week with Etsy soaring nearly 11%. The Nasdaq 100 gained 0.87% to end the session at its highest level since early September as Moderna surged over 16%. The euro went up by 0.36% to go for $1.19552 at 1:02 pm ET.
