Wall Street closes lower as tech shares drop

Trading on Wall Street ended in the red on Tuesday as shares of tech companies fell across the board. Among other companies, Apple, Facebook and Netflix all traded lower.

Investors kept an eye on negotiations on the next coronavirus stimulus bill, which Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell described as being at a "stalemate."

The Dow Jones fell 0.38% at the closing bell with Apple sinking 2.97%. The S&P 500 lost 0.80% as Occidental Petroleum tanked over 8%. The Nasdaq 100 dropped 1.89%; Netflix, Apple, Intel, Microsoft and Facebook all led the index lower.
