Wall Street opens in green, Dow up 250 pts

United States stock markets started trading higher on Friday after the release of positive jobs data, as well as optimistic news regarding the trade war between Washington and Beijing. Chinese Customs Tariff Commission announced it was working on excluding certain American soybean and pork imports from tariffs. Meanwhile, members of the OPEC+ reached an agreement to cut oil output by 500,000 barrels per day in the first three months of 2020.

On data, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported nonfarm payroll employment in the US increased by 266,000 in November.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.58% at the opening bell to jump over 0.90% minutes into the trading session. 3M was the best performer, advancing 2.03%. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.74%, as Ulta Beauty Inc. jumped over 8%. At the same time, the S&P 500 was up 0.63%, with Applied Materials climbing 2.85%.

The euro fell 0.24% at 9:29 am ET against the dollar to sell for 1.10759. The pound slipped 0.24% go for $1.31273 concurrently.
