US stocks climb premarket as tariffs deal progresses

Equities on Wall Street grew premarket on Friday with all eyes on fresh trade developments. According to the Chinese Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, certain US soybean and pork imports in China will be excluded from tariffs.

Meanwhile, United States National Security Advisor Robert O'Brien said Beijing and Washington are "close" to reaching an agreement on the so-called phase one trade deal.

The Dow gained 0.21% at 4:30 am ET while the Nasdaq 100 and the S&P 500 rose 0.33% and 0.22% at the same time, respectively.

The euro traded flat to go for $1.11026 at 4:30 am ET.
