Li: China wants more foreign investments, relaxed rules

China is seeking to lift market restrictions and welcome more foreign investment into the country, Premier Li Keqiang said on Thursday.

Speaking to foreign CEOs at the 7th Round Table Summit of the Global CEO Council, Li stated: "We will also relax (restrictions on) access to even more fields to create a market-oriented, law-based internationalized business environment."

Li spoke to business leaders from 19 companies including Finnish telecommunications company American Honeywell International, Nokia Oyi, mining corporation Rio Tinto and German carmaker Volkswagen AG.
