PNC Financial Services Group Inc. is in advanced negotiations to buy Spanish bank BBVA's United States operations, media reported. According to the Financial Times, the all-cash deal could be worth more than $11 billion.

The agreement is expected to be announced on Monday. If concluded, it would create the fifth-largest US retail bank by assets, the FT wrote.
