Asian markets mostly high amid trade optimism

Asian markets traded mostly higher on Wednesday following a record high close of the Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500. Traders also kept an eye on reports that the United States will continue trade negotiations with China on April 30.

Japanese Nikkei 225 traded 0.29% lower at 4:14 am CET. The dollar traded flat against the yen, to go for 111.8755 at 4:15 am CET.

China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.09% at 4:15 am CET, while Shenzhen Composite traded 0.32% higher at the same time.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng traded 0.04% higher at 4:12 am CET. South Korean Kospi Composite was down 0.35% at 4:16 am CET.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 went up 1.11% at 4:12 am CET.
