Germany widens probe into Continental over 'dieselgate' - report |

The Hanover public prosecutor's office has expanded its investigation into Continental AG's role in Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal, WirtschaftsWoche reported on Thursday citing a spokesperson for the authority. According to the spokesperson, prosecutors are now looking into 41 suspects at the company. In July 2020, the prosecutors launched a probe into three Continental executives on suspicion the company helped Volkswagen program the software that enabled it to cheat emission tests. |
