Consumer Sentiment Index in the United States decreased more than expected in November to stand at 96.1, the Conference Board reported on Tuesday. The figure marks a 5.3 points drop compared to October's revised figure of 101.4.

Meanwhile, the present situation slightly improved from last month, up to 105.9 from 104.6. However, expectations dropped 8.5 points to 89.5.
